This policy explains how PetRecord handles your data. PetRecord is a fully local record-keeping tool for pet vaccination, deworming and medication history.
Only what you enter yourself: pet name, species, birthday, gender, weight, avatar photo, and the fields and document photos of vaccination, deworming and medication records. The app does not collect device identifiers, location, contacts or any other information.
All pet profiles, records and photos are stored only on this device. Nothing is uploaded to any server, and no account or sign-in is required. The app does not use iCloud sync.
Photo library: only to pick a pet avatar or vaccination document photos.
Notifications: only for vaccination, deworming and medication reminders, which contain just the pet name and record name. Both permissions are optional; the core record-keeping features still work without them.
We never share, sell or transfer your data. The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDK and makes no third-party network requests.
You can export your data as a CSV file to the Files app yourself from Settings. You can also clear all local data at any time from Settings; cleared data cannot be recovered.
Deleting a pet or a record removes it from this device immediately. Clearing local data in Settings erases every pet, record and pending reminder, and cannot be undone.
PetRecord is for record-keeping and reminders only. It does not provide veterinary diagnosis, condition assessment or medication advice. Any decision about your pet's health or medication should be made with a licensed veterinarian.
If this policy changes, the updated text will appear on this page inside the app. Continuing to use the app means you understand the current privacy statement.
